Strain / Stress range extends the functionality of Ansys Workbench with the possibility to determine and plot on the geometry of the range of specific parameters based on a defined transient analysis.
Stress/Strain range extension is a very helpful and easy-to-use post-processing tool. With this extension you can easily and quickly find strain or stress range in a defined mission (transient analysis). The algorithm automatically finds the largest range and then plots it directly on the geometry in the form of clear contours. The user can choose between total strain, equivalent stress and components stress.
